About Us
Who are we?
Rhea Infras is an infrastructure development company focusing on the management and maintenance of infrastructure assets, thereby forming the golden thread between investment infrastructure and service providers. Our main focus is to add value to these assets by expanding our product portfolio and the scope of our business to ensure monetary benefit to our investors and partners. Rhea Infras provides a tax-efficient structure which allows investors to gain inflation-tracking returns because of their exposure to exclusive assets. With our roots firmly nestled in South Africa, we attribute great value to community empowerment, which is why we believe in providing more than just infrastructure but opportunities to uplift the communities within which we operate.
What’s in a name?
Rhea or Rheia was known as a goddess in Greek mythology, the Titaness daughter of the earth goddess Gaia and the sky god Uranus. Rhea was known as the mother of gods and was a symbol of ease and flow, as she took control and kept things flowing during the reign of her husband. Just like the goddess Rhea in ancient Greek mythology, Rhea Infras is a strong, growing commodity that strives to be the leader in the industry by placing innovation at the forefront. Like Rhea’s motherly nature, we too nurture our communities, with the provision of infrastructure as well as our various CSR initiatives.
CSR initiatives
At Rhea Infras, community upliftment is an important part of our vision. By means of a participatory approach we engage with community counsellors to get an understanding of the community’s needs on ground level. This collaboration forms the basis of the CSR initiatives we launch in the communities we operate.
